Digital Couture

Digital couture in the making Digitalize your wardrobe ALOHA, fashionistas today we are going to talk about how digital fashion has significantly impacted style and trends throughout the fashion industry in several ways:  First, let’s start with online shopping! The rise of online shopping has changed the way people shop for clothing. Online shopping offers convenience, a wider section of styles, and personalized recommendations (which happens to be one of my favorite features) one other feature shopping online allows is the use of virtual try-on technologies allowing buyers to visualize how clothing items would look on them before making a purchase.  virtual try-on has accelerated trends and enabled faster dissemination of styles impacting consumer choices and preferences.  NEXT, let’s dive into wearable technology  Fashion had merged with functionality. exude BODY POSITIVITY

Image
aloha fashionista, today I choose to center my conversation around body positivity. It’s something I struggled with at a young age therefore I understand the transformative impact clothing can have on one’s self-confidence. around these parts, we believe everybody is beautiful and fashion is a powerful tool for staying in tune with your individuality. Fashion is not one-size-fits-all, and it shouldn’t be. Embracing body positivity means acknowledging the diversity of shapes, sizes, and proportions. Whether it’s a curvy or petite silhouette or everything in between, each body type has its very own beauty. Inclusive fashion celebrates diversity by offering clothing options that cater to various body frames.  body positivity was always doomed to fail         Body positivity in the fashion industry: Fostering inclusivity, confidence, and change I wanted to give my fashionista some tips y’all could find useful when dressing for your specific figures.  Pear-Shaped Figures: A-line

Fashion evolution reflection: 70’s roller skating era

Image
Custom Roller Skates 70's Inspired Looks ALOHA! Welcome back, fashionistas! Today, we're going to skate our way through the vibrant era of the 70s, where the sound of disco beats echoed through roller skating rinks. I don’t know about y’all, but this screams the spirit of nostalgia. In this edition of KIMology N’ Fashion, let’s lace up our roller skates and skate away into time to acknowledge the iconic roller skating era of the 1970s. The 70s witnessed the rise of roller discos, where fashion was just as important as the moves being performed on the skating rink floor. People tended to wear sequined jumpsuits, bell bottoms, abstract patterns, and neon colors. Roller skating in the 70s was a riot of colors, with the neon lights and disco balls reflecting a colorful vibrant glow onto the rink. One of my favorite forms of self-expression from this era was DIY customization. Roller skaters would customize their outfits to stand out and make an impression when on the rink. Rhines

Jordan High Heels For Women The Relationship Between Black Mothers & Their Daughters   The thread of influence woven by my mother and big sisters stands out as unique, vibrant, and utterly irreplaceable. Their individual styles, shaped by generations before them, and a strong sense of self-expression, have been my compass in navigating the fashion world. Please allow me to explain the impact they've had on my evolution into becoming a true fashionista! The Elegance of My Mother's Heritage: My mother, a woman of creativity, strength, and love, infused her style with elements that celebrated our African American heritage. Her wardrobe told stories of resilience, beauty, and African American pride. Embracing what she has shown me through her fashion choices taught me that style was not just about clothes but a beautiful showcase of identity. Sisterly Coordination: Having big sisters who were fashionistas before fashionistas even existed exposed me to the diverse styles within
