exude BODY POSITIVITY

aloha fashionista, today I choose to center my conversation around body positivity. It’s something I struggled with at a young age therefore I understand the transformative impact clothing can have on one’s self-confidence. around these parts, we believe everybody is beautiful and fashion is a powerful tool for staying in tune with your individuality. Fashion is not one-size-fits-all, and it shouldn’t be. Embracing body positivity means acknowledging the diversity of shapes, sizes, and proportions. Whether it’s a curvy or petite silhouette or everything in between, each body type has its very own beauty. Inclusive fashion celebrates diversity by offering clothing options that cater to various body frames.

I wanted to give my fashionista some tips y’all could find useful when dressing for your specific figures.

Pear-Shaped Figures: A-line skirts, fitted tops, and dresses that accentuate the waist and flare out below the hips.

Apple-Shaped Figures: flowy tops, and dresses that highlight the bust and flow away from the midsection. V-necks as well :)

Hourglass Figures: Highlight the waist with dresses or tops. Fitted clothing and wrap dresses complement curves beautifully.

Athletic or Rectangular Figures: peplum tops, ruffles, or clothing with asymmetrical lines. Layering and adding textures help add dimension.

Plus-Size Figures: well-tailored clothing, avoid oversized clothing, and experiment with patterns and colors that accentuate your body.

Fashion is an expression of self-love, your clothing isn’t just about covering your body. Embracing your body positivity means dressing to make yourself feel confident and comfortable. wearing what makes you feel good can significantly impact your self-esteem, true style will always transcend trends. Embracing colors, textures, and styles resonate with your personality and make YOU FEEL fabulous.

Body positivity and inclusive fashion are not trends! They’re whole-ass women's rights movements!

until next time, it’s not about what you wear it’s about how you wear it, so wear your confidence and let your style shine.

Stay stylish,
